Time has certainly flown by since we wandered through FallFest, getting flyers and free food thrown at us right and left.  We still don't know where most of our classes are without looking in the map of our Week By Week, nor will we ever know what is in the Lenoir 'chili'.  

A lot has gotten easier.  We are no longer scared to sit in the Pit by ourselves, reading or people-watching.  We are no longer puzzled to find ourselves smelling like Chase hours after leave the squat seventies-style building.  The campus is seeming smaller and smaller as we recognize more and more people.

The best is yet to come, however.  You may be worrying about belonging to few organizations, but come next fall, you have yet another chance to go to FallFest and sign up on a million listserves. Next year you will know enough people to spend the first weeks of school worrying about yourself rather than your social life.
