Welcome to
Freshman Central, your one-stop-shop to learning about the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill! We are happy and excited to have you as a
part of our community. You should feel proud to join the ranks of Tar Heels
past and present.
This site is designed for you to use as a resource while you plan to come
to Carolina and throughout the year. UNC-CH is an awesome place, and we
want you to have all of the knowledge you need.

Know about the MyUNC Portal?
This is your one-stop place to do virtually anything you need
to do online. You can search Google, check the weather, catch
up on the news, check which books you need for classes, fine-tune
your class schedule, and much more! If you haven't been there
yet, check it out!
Oracle Calendar
Although it has nothing to do with the gods in ancient Greece,
they may have guided the creators of this software. Once installed
on your computer, this program serves as a calendar to help
you manage your busy schedule. But this is where the fun begins.
You can also view other people's schedules and find out when
they're available. It will make it much easier to schedule an
appointment with a professor or to simply find out when you
can meet your friend for dinner. The more people who sign up,
the more useful Oracle is. And, yes, it syncs with your PDA.
