Career Services

Coming into Carolina, some freshmen already have their sights set on a career. After a fun-filled semester of CHEM 21 though, some would-be M.D.’s decide that the medical field just isn’t for them. Whether this is your boat or you are just undecided about your future career, go visit Career Services. They can give you information on any job you might be interested in pursuing and also help you to find an internship with their affiliated companies. Go to Career Services in Hanes Hall or visit the Career Services website. (LINK)

Undergraduate Research

Some time in your college career, you will register for a class that will sweep you off of your feet without warning. The professor will be intriguing and engaging and will present the class topic in such a way that you can’t help becoming involved. With this strong interest in an academic field, you, like many students before, you may want to take advantage of the UNC Undergraduate Research Program where you can collaborate with top professors and other students like yourself to better explore the world around you. Visit the Undergraduate Research website.
